  • How to use

    1. Keep the baby in an upright or semi-upright position, with firm arms, and make sure the baby is comfortable.

    2. Place the tip of the bulb in the baby s nostrils, and suck very gently through the mouthpiece, as if you were drinking a liquid, through a bulb. If necessary, apply greater suction force. The mouthpiece is a one-way valve and will not allow you to blow in the direction of the baby s nose.

    3. Pre-treatment with a few drops of saline solution or saline spray in each nostril can help loosen thick mucus before using NeilMed® Naspira® Naso-Oral Aspirator. The mucus will come out very easily from the baby s nostrils, reaching mainly the tip, and if it is excessive, it will remain in the area of the bulb while sucking.

    4. Repeat the previous steps in the same nostril, or the other as necessary.

    5. Please follow the cleaning and disinfection protocol for the safety of you and your baby

    6. Change the filter if it becomes dirty with secretions, or after an acute infection, or every week during use.
