Ainara is a mucoadhesive moisturizing gel for vulvovaginal use indicated for the relief of symptoms of atrophy, vaginal dryness and related discomfort, which may occur during pregnancy, the postpartum period, menopause or as a result of physical or chemical irritation, or alteration of the normal vaginal flora or associated with the use of oral contraceptives or other medications.

The most common vaginal discomforts are itching , irritation , burning , and dyspareunia or pain during sexual intercourse .
